You can recognize a snapback cap – sometimes also called a snapback hat – by the adjustable plastic closure on the back – the snapback. It has its roots in American baseball and later became famous through the hip-hop, skate and streetwear scenes. Today it is one of the most popular cap styles and goes with jeans, shorts, a hoodie or a T-shirt.

Our snapback caps are unisex – the same cap looks just as good on men as on women. If you're looking for a simple snapback cap for men or women, go for black, dark grey or light grey; a grey snapback goes with almost anything. Snapback caps for kids and matching looks

Soulbuddy is all about shared moments. That's why every color also comes in small: our snapback caps for kids also have a flat brim and fit toddlers from approx. 1 year (KIDS M, approx. 1–2 years) and older kids from approx. 2 years (KIDS L), each with a snapback closure. For the very little ones there is also KIDS S with a soft elastic band.

What does snapback mean?

The name comes from the closure: the plastic strap on the back audibly snaps into place and holds the cap at the chosen width. That way a snapback cap fits many heads without a fixed size.

What is the difference between a snapback and a strapback?

On a snapback the fit is adjusted with a plastic closure, on a strapback with a strap and buckle. At Soulbuddy, our dad hats have a metal buckle closure.

How do I wash my snapback cap?

Please hand wash only with lukewarm water, never in the washing machine, and let it air dry. That way shape and color last a long time.
